Description This position supports a community-based recreational program which encourages female identified girls, in grades 6+, to develop self-confidence and positive social skills in fun game and art-based activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES Facilitate craft activities Co-facilitate group discussions Assist with snack/dinner preparation
QUALIFICATIONS: Develop a supportive relationship with youth and act as a positive role model Develop and co-facilitate group activities (games & art-based) that are engaging, positive and responsive to the needs and interests of the participants Co-facilitate group discussions Helping with the set-up and clean-up of space Notify staff when absent

Training Details: On-site orientation provided. Working Conditions: Indoor and outdoor activities will occur with the occasional trip. Program Staff present. Accessibility: Transportation: On a bus route

Time Commitment
Duration: 4 - 6 months Weekday - Daytime, Weekday - Evening Wednesdays from 4:00-5:30 pm Location: Paulander Community Centre, Kitchener
