   About the Position

Impact Statement
The LINK Picnic Festival and Carnival Costume Parade is an African and Caribbean Cultural Diaspora event including food, art, music and activities to engage the whole family. Your support helps us raise awareness of these cultures, reduce barriers to cultural harmony and collaboration, and link people up through the Arts. Join us for our second virtual festival. The date is August 21-22, 2021.

The volunteer will be using the soundboard and other audio equipment to make sure the music and all the sound systems are working properly for the festival at Victoria Park. The volunteer should be able to work on the spot, independently and with others on the team. Experience with sound systems is an asset.

Ideal for: An Individual, A Group, Student Placement
Age: 16+

Training / Work Condtions

Training Details: Training provided by main stage manager.
Working Conditions: Flexible either rain or shine.
Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space, Accessible work space, Support Newcomers

Time Commitment

Duration: 3 months or less

Weekend - Daytime, Weekend - Evening
