Peer Facilitator
Grief Support Groups
|
|
Impact Statement Your grief experience can bring hope and healing. All of our programs are facilitated by volunteer facilitators who are themselves bereaved. Hearing experiences, stories and coping strategies from a peer has a profound effect on people who are grieving and helps normalize the grief experience. You get it. You've been there.

Description All of our grief support groups are facilitated by volunteers who are themselves bereaved, and offer a unique compassion and empathetic understanding of grief and grief support to our program members. Using your own bereavement experience, as a peer support facilitator, you will believe in the benefits of peer support to facilitate bereaved individuals in a group setting.
We have an urgent need for folks who have experienced a drug or alcohol related death in order to facilitate our Living with Loss by substance use group.
