Impact Statement Special Olympics is founded on the belief that people with intellectual disabilities can, with proper instruction and encouragement, learn, enjoy and benefit from participation in individual and team sports.

Description A Fundraising Coordinator is needed to raise the awareness of Special Olympics within the community. Interested candidate should have an interest or knowledge of community fundraising and be the SOKW community representative in all areas pertaining to fundraising. Develop strategies and resources to enable the goals in a fundraising plan. Handle grant applications, in kind donations, service and club donations.
Fundraising Coordinator will need to approach and communicate with potential sponsors/donors in the community and act as a resource to community fundraising efforts within the community. Detailed job description available upon request.

Time Commitment
Duration: 1 year or more Anytime 2-3 hours per week. Duration of the position is 2 years or as per Community by-laws.
