   About the Position

Impact Statement
The LINK Picnic Festival and Carnival Costume Parade is an African and Caribbean Cultural Diaspora event including food, art, music and activities to engage the whole family. Your support helps us raise awareness of these cultures, reduce barriers to cultural harmony and collaboration, and link people up through the Arts. Join us for our second virtual festival. The date is August 21-22, 2021.

The Sponsorship Manager creates and manages the sponsorship program. Volunteers should have some sponsorship, sales, advertising, or marketing experience; good verbal, written, listening and public speaking skills; strong time management skills, and should be detail oriented.

Position Qualifications

Ideal for: An Individual, A Group, Student Placement
Age: 19+ English Proficiency, Confidentiality, Specialized Training, Work Without Supervision

Training / Work Condtions

Training Details: The event manager will provide direction and information regarding Sponsorships.
Working Conditions: Work from home.
Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space, Support volunteers with special needs, Accessible work space

Time Commitment

Duration: 4 - 6 months
IMMEDIATE NEED! Event is August 21-22, 2019
