Fostering- A stepping stone to a forever home!

We are currently recruiting for our Foster Program. We are looking for warm and welcoming homes for our dogs, cats, small animals and reptiles in need.
Our Foster families provide a safe, warm and caring temporary home while our animals wait for the furever home!

Position Qualifications

Ideal for: An Individual
Age: 18+
Physical Demand

Training / Work Condtions

Training Details: An orientation to the foster role and KWHS will be provided.
All necessary resources for your foster pet will also be included this can include food, food dishes, litter and litter pan, leash, collar and toys!
Working Conditions: In your own home.

Time Commitment

Duration: 4 - 6 months
Weekday - Daytime, Weekday - Evening, Weekend - Daytime, Weekend - Evening, Anytime
Foster homes are 24/7 with many of our animals staying in care 2-4 weeks.
Those animals with increased needs or recovering from medical can be in a foster home for 3-6 months.
