Winter Rink Volunteer

Outdoor Community Rink

City of Kitchener

   About the Position

Impact Statement
To proudly provide valued services and build community and Corporate capacity by inspiring volunteers, staff, elected officials and all community members to be active contributions to Kitchener’s Community Vision.

Imagine a clear winter day; a perfect day for gathering friends and family, walking down the street to your neighbourhood outdoor winter rink and lacing up your skates. There are more than 30 outdoor rinks for everyone to enjoy each winter and without the over 200 dedicated volunteers that maintain and care for them; one of our favourite winter pastimes would not occur.

Maintaining these rinks require many hands to flood, clear snow and maintain a safe place for their neighbourhood to skate.

We are recruiting for all our outdoor rinks.
