   About the Position

Impact Statement
Monica Place volunteers provide supports to pregnant and parenting youth.

Our vision is a collaborative and responsive community where pregnant and parenting youth are safe, supported and valued.

Volunteers are needed to care for infants and toddlers while their parents are attending school and programs at Monica Place. Volunteers must be comfortable working with infants - changing diapers, feedings, and providing stimulating play to promote the children's development and well-being.

English Proficiency, Confidentiality
COVID-19 Vaccination Required: Yes

Training / Work Condtions

Training Details: Orientation is provided by the organization.
Working Conditions: Indoor nursery setting. Team approach.
Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom
Transportation: On a bus route

Time Commitment

Duration: 4 - 6 months
Weekday - Daytime
Weekly commitment of one morning or afternoon for 2 to 3 hours during weekdays, between 9:00am to 12pm. or 12:30pm to 2:30pm. Volunteer positions are available from September to the end of June.
