Impact Statement Assist local seniors maintain their independence by providing transportation.

Description Volunteer a minimum of one hour per week, to help Waterloo seniors participate in a weekday therapeutic recreation program. Volunteer drivers pick-up and escort seniors to or from our weekday program at the Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex, Community Pavilion.
If you enjoy interacting with seniors and are an experienced driver (4 years or more with a G License, reliable vehicle and a safe driving record), consider this vital weekday volunteer opportunity. Mileage costs are reimbursed. Visit www.waterloo.ca/volunteer to apply.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Driver orientation will be provided by Senior Outing Day Program Staff at the Community Pavilion, Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex. Working Conditions: Accessibility: Transportation: Car required

Time Commitment
Duration: 7 - 12 months Weekday - Daytime Minimum one shift of one hour per week Mondays 9:15am to 10:15am OR 3:15pm to 4:15pm.
