LINK Picnic Festival
The 16th LINK Picnic Festival will be on August 21-22, 2021. Due to COVID, we will again celebrate the wealth and diversity within the African and Caribbean Diaspora ONLINE to provide contact and exposure to multiple levels of community. The outdoor event (usually at Victoria Park, Kitchener) provides experiences and tastes of African and Caribbean Culture through food, arts, music and activities. Families and friends have enjoyed the Carnival costume parade, face painting for kids, drum and dance at the Drumming Village, performances of amazing artists on the main stage and steel pan bands in the Steelpan Yard. We look forward to creating the second online presentation of our festival. If you love music, entertainment, people and want to make a difference in community, come share your skills and LINK UP with us.
