Impact Statement By Volunteering with the Block Parent Program, you will help Build Safer Communities, One Block at a Time.
The value the program brings to the neighborhood occurs when children and other community members feel safe just by seeing Block Parent signs in windows. By simply displaying the window sign, the Block Parent home becomes a symbol of a connected and engaged community.

Description Email [email protected] to request the Information Package!
A Block Parent home, specifically the front porch or doorstep, is a “temporary refuge” that children can access when they’re feeling hurt, lost or scared and need assistance. As a Block Parent, you will be able to volunteer to help keep your neighbourhood safe from the comfort of your own home!
Simply display your Block Parent sign when you're home and available. Your sign will indicate to your neighbours and the children on your block, that you are ready to assist in an emergency by placing a phone call to either parents or emergency services.
