Youth Summer Program Assistant

Impact Statement Do you enjoy spending time with children? Join our summer programs as a youth volunteer and earn community service hours for high school. You'll assist staff during children's programs, provide hands-on support and interact with kids ages 3-11.
This opportunity is for teens (13 - 18 years) entering grades 9 - 12 in the fall of 2024.
DATES: July 3 - August 24, 2024 Spaces are limited. Appy early!

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Training will be presented in person at the end of June (June 17 - 27, 2024). Working Conditions: Library space Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space, Support volunteers with special needs, Accessible work space, Support Newcomers Transportation: On a bus route

Time Commitment
Duration: 3 months or less Weekday - Daytime Must be able to volunteer for at least five shifts throughout the summer; each shift is 2 hours. Please note that our summer programs are not offered every day of the week; no weekend shifts.
